The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana Youngs Creek at Amity. East Fork White River at Williams, Bedford, and Rivervale. Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.
: The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana White River at Hazleton and Petersburg. .Minor lowland flooding continues along lower portions of the East Fork White River, the lower White River and other local tributaries. Heavy rainfall earlier today has cause additional rises particularly on local rivers. Both rivers have crest but minor flooding could continue into Friday morning on lower ends of the East Fork and well into the weekend on the lower White.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: White River at Hazleton.
When: Until early Tuesday morning.
Impacts: At 22.0 feet, In agricultural season, extensive flooding of bottomlands and some of the higher bottomlands is in progress. High water surrounds residents in river cabins. Oil fields and local roads flood.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground. Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim, or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters, stop, turn around and go another way. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
