...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued aFlood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...East Fork White River at Seymour.Wabash River at Montezuma..Multiple rounds of rainfall this week have produced enough runoffto bring minor flooding to some spots along area rivers, includingSeymour on the East Fork White and Montezuma on the Wabash. Floodingon the Wabash and East Fork White is expected to be relativelyshort-lived this weekend, but additional flooding could develop nextweek with more rounds of rain possible. People with interests alongarea rivers should monitor updated forecasts and warnings.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.* WHEN...From this morning to tomorrow morning.* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands alongthe right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge ofMontezuma begin to flood.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 10:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 14.1 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 10:45 AM EDT Friday was 14.1 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.3feet this afternoon.
