The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana Illinoi
S: Wabash River at Lafayette down to Covingtonand at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.
: The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Illinoi
S: Indiana Wabash River at Montezuma down to Terre Hauteand at Riverton. .Heavy rainfall since Monday afternoon totaling generally two to four inches across western central Indianahas produced minor flooding along much of the Wabash River. Flooding will end at Lafayette and Covington Thursdaywith minor flooding continuing at Terre Haute and points downriver into next week.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Wabash River at Lafayette.
When: Until tomorrow evening.
Impacts: At 12.0 feet, Water may approach a couple low county roads.
Additional Details: - At 9:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 11.7 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 PM EDT Wednesday was 12.3 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
