S: La Moine River at Colmar affecting McDonough and Hancock Counties.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: La Moine River at Colmar.
When: Until Sunday morning.
Impacts: At 22.5 feet, Water affects lower roads around Birmingham.
Additional Details: - At 8:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.7 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 21.8 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
