What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Mississippi River at Hannibal.
When: Until Saturday afternoon.
Impacts: At 17.0 feet, John Hay Recreation Area on east side (inside the Illinois Sny Levee) begins flooding.
Additional Details: - At 10:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 17.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:15 AM CDT Monday was 17.1 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.6 feet early Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Friday morning. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
