The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in IowaIllinoi
S: Maquoketa River near Maquoketa affecting Jackson County. Rock River near Joslin affecting Henry IL, Whiteside and Rock Island Counties. Rock River at Moline affecting Henry IL and Rock Island Counties.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Rock River near Joslin.
When: From late Friday night to Monday afternoon.
Impacts: At 13.0 feet, Flooding of unprotected agricultural land occurs. Water also affects Lundeens Landing Campground.
Additional Details: - At 8:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.8 feet and rising. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage early Saturday morning to a crest of 12.9 feet Saturday evening. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. The next statement will be issued by Thursday evening at 945 PM CDT.

When: Through Thursday morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
Additional Details: - Several rounds of heavy rain producing thunderstorms are expected through Thursday morning across the watch area. The storms may be slow moving or redeveloping over the same areas resulting in torrential rainfall and possibly several inches of rain by Thursday morning.
