A Flood Warning means water levels above flood stage are imminent or may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and property. These forecasts are based on observed precipitation as well as forecast precipitation 24 hours into the future. Changes to the rainfall forecast, or any additional rainfall after 24 hours, may cause changes to these river forecasts. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued by Tuesday afternoon.

Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin Baraboo River At Reedsburg affecting Sauk County.
: The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in WisconsinIllinoi
S: Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Lake and Kenosha Counties. Wisconsin River At Portage affecting Columbia County.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Fox River Lower near New Munster.
When: Until Thursday evening.
Impacts: At 12.0 feet, Water is up to the first floor levels of some homes in the Town of Wheatland and Village of Salem Lakes area along Riverside Drive and Shorewood Drive.
Additional Details: - At 9:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 12.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Monday was 12.4 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 9.6 feet Monday, April 13. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
