...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8 PM MDTFRIDAY...* WHAT...For the Lake Wind Advisory for American Falls Reservoir,southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected.For the High Wind Warning, west winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up toaround 55 mph expected.* WHERE...Lower Snake River Plain.* WHEN...For the Lake Wind Advisory, until 9 PM MDT this evening.For the High Wind Warning, from noon to 8 PM MDT Friday.* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will createhazardous conditions, especially for small craft. Blowing dust islikely reducing visibility. Travel will be difficult, especiallyfor high profile vehicles. Isolated damage to trees, powerlines,signs, and outbuildings is expected, along with isolated poweroutages. Loose outdoor objects will be blown around.
