...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia...Withlacoochee River near Quitman (US 84) affecting Brooks andLowndes Counties.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue.* WHERE...Withlacoochee River near Quitman (US 84).* WHEN...Until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 110.0 feet, In Lowndes County, Beaver Run Road, SpainFerry Road, and Old Quitman Highway are flooded. Water willapproach structures along Old Quitman Highway on the Brooks Countyside of the river.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 9:00 PM EDT Monday the stage was 107.0 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 9:00 PM EDT Monday was 107.0 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 109.0feet early Wednesday afternoon.- Flood stage is 104.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of109.0 feet on 03/11/1944.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
