At 921 AM EDT, Since midnight, between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain hadfallen in the warned area. Despite only scattered showers expectedfor the rest of the morning, locally excessive runoff will linger,and please remain wary of the probability of encountering floodedand/or barricaded roads.HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poordrainage and low-lying areas.Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...Toccoa, Clarkesville, Cornelia, Baldwin, Demorest, Mount Airy,Lake Hartwell, Boydville, Hollywood, Turnerville and Eastanolee.
