What: For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 23 expected.
Where: Coastal Broward County, Coastal Miami Dade County, Far South Miami-Dade County, Coastal Collier County, and Mainland Monroe Counties.
When: For the Wind Advisory, until 7 AM EST Sunday. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Sunday.
Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

What: For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents expected. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 5 to 8 feet expected in the surf zone.
Where: Coastal Collier County.
When: For the High Rip Current Risk, from 7 AM EST this morning through Sunday evening. For the High Surf Advisory, from 1 PM this afternoon to 1 PM EST Sunday.
Impacts: Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

Action Recommandée

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
