...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida...Choctawhatchee River near Bruce (SR 20) affecting Washington andWalton Counties.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Choctawhatchee River near Bruce (SR 20).* WHEN...Until Friday evening.* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Big Cedar, Cowford, and ChoctawhatcheeRiver Roads begin to flood in Walton County. Flood waters impactstorage areas underneath homes on the west banks of theChoctawhatchee River. Low areas along Strickland Road inWashington County become subject to flooding.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 7:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 14.2 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 7:45 PM CDT Tuesday was 14.2 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.3feet tomorrow morning.
