Description

Widespread dense fog is dissipating, and the Dense Fog Advisory will be allowed to expire. Patchy fog remains possible for the next hour or so, and drivers should still use caution on the roads when encountering fog.

Description

What: Dangerous rip currents.
Where: Walton, Bay, South-facing Gulf, and Franklin County Beaches.
When: Through late tonight.
Impacts: Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

Action Recommandée

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
