Description

At 207 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Longs, or near Little River, moving northeast at 55 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include North Myrtle Beach, Shallotte, Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, North Myrtle Beach Airport, Little River, Iredell, Carolina Shores, Calabash, Grissettown, Exum, Longwood, Seaside, Wampee, Longs, Russtown, Pireway, Ash, Brooksville, and Barefoot Landing Area Of North Myrtle Beach.
