Description

What: Elevated surf of 3-5 feet with sets up to 7 feet expected along with dangerous rip currents and minor coastal flooding.
Where: San Diego County coastal areas and Orange County coastal areas, particularly along south and southwest-facing beaches.
When: Through this evening.
Impacts: Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Flooding of low lying beach parking lots, boardwalks, and roads.
Additional Details: High tides peak around 6.2 to 6.5 feet from 8-10 PM PDT this evening.

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
