Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible from multiple lines of showers and thunderstorms, strong at times, moving across the area.
Where: San Francisco County, San Mateo Peninsula, East Bay, South Bay, and Central Coast
When: Through this evening.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - Soils are saturated from the last few days of rain. Showers and thunderstorm with high rain rates may lead to flash flooding and the potential for landslides. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
