What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: A portion of central Alabama, including the following counties, Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston.
When: Through Saturday afternoon.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

Moderate to heavy rainfall will be possible across the area for the next hour or two. Streams will remain elevated and ponding of water on the roads should be expected.
What: Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: A portion of central Alabama, including the following counties, Calhoun, Etowah, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair and Talladega.
When: Until 1045 AM CST.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 835 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
