What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: A portion of central Alabama, including the following counties, Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston.
When: Through Saturday afternoon.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

When: Until 745 AM CST.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 431 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Alabaster, Bessemer, Homewood, Pelham, Mountain Brook, Helena, Irondale, Chelsea, Montevallo, Indian Springs Village, Lipscomb, Lake View, Vance, Woodstock, West Blocton, Maylene and Tannehill Ironworks State Park.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
