What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Central Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama West Central Escambia County in northwestern Florida
When: Until 700 PM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 501 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Bay Minette, Robertsdale, Loxley, Stapleton, Silverhill, Gateswood, Rosinton, Steelwood, Vangordon, Pine Haven, Whitehouse Forks, Douglasville and D'Olive. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Where: Portions of south central and southwest Alabama, northwest Florida, and southeast Mississippi.
When: For the first Heat Advisory, until 8 PM CDT this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from 11 AM to 8 PM CDT Friday.
Impacts: Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.
