Another precipitation system is expected to move through Manitoba beginning the evening of June 9. 30-70mm of precipitation is expected for parts of western, southern and eastern Manitoba, including the Interlake Region, between June 9 and 12 with potential for localized amounts greater than 70mm. Heavy rainfall over a short period may lead to high surface runoff and overland flooding in affected areas.

Be aware and exercise caution near waterways in the affected area. Do not attempt to cross fast flowing waters or waters of unknown depth. Avoid flooded areas. Water levels that have exceeded channel capacity can be expected to flood adjacent areas, agricultural fields and infrastructure in the area.
