Description

Another precipitation system is expected to move through Manitoba beginning the evening of June 9. 30-70mm of precipitation is expected for parts of western, southern and eastern Manitoba, including the Interlake Region, between June 9 and 12 with potential for localized amounts greater than 70mm. Heavy rainfall over a short period may lead to high surface runoff and overland flooding in affected areas.

Description

Significant precipitation in western Manitoba has caused water levels to exceed channel capacity in areas along Swan River near Minitonas, resulting in minor to major flooding. Water levels that have exceeded channel capacity can be expected to flood adjacent areas, agricultural fields and infrastructure in the area.
