Surface observation sites, area web cams, and satellite data indicated that patchy dense fog was impacting portions coastal southeast Georgia and portions of the South Carolina Lowcountry this morning. The fog could produce visibilities as low as a half mile at times, as well as significant changes in visibility over short distances. The fog may become locally dense, reducing visibilities on area roadways until sunrise.

If driving, slow down and leave extra distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed.
