What: River and stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: A portion of northwest Ohio, including the following county, Ottawa.
When: Until 415 AM EDT Saturday.
Impacts: The Portage River continues to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
Additional Details: - At 320 PM EDT, river gauge reports indicate the river was at 13.6 feet and flooding will continue along the Portage River near Elmore. The river will continue to slowly recede this evening. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Oak Harbor and Elmore. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
