Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside.

When: For the High Rip Current Risk, from 10 AM EST this morning through Sunday evening. For the High Surf Advisory, from 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM EST Sunday.
Impacts: Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
