Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in WisconsinIllinoi
S: Fox River At Princeton affecting Green Lake County. Fox River Near Berlin affecting Green Lake County. Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Kenosha and Lake Counties.
: The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin Crawfish River At Milford affecting Jefferson County.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Crawfish River at Milford.
When: Until Monday evening.
Impacts: At 8.0 feet, There is widespread flooding of agricultural land and lowland. There is widespread flooding in Riverbend Campground, about 5 miles upstream of Milford.
Additional Details: - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 7.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 7.7 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to fall below flood stage Monday morning and continue falling to 5.2 feet Friday, May 01. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 7.6 feet on 09/22/1938. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim, or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters, stop, turn around and go another way. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
