TORNADO WATCH 294 REMAINS VALID UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN SOUTH DAKOTA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA JERAULD IN SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AURORA BRULE CHARLES MIX DOUGLAS GREGORY THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALPENA, ARMOUR, BURKE, CHAMBERLAIN, CORSICA, DELMONT, GREGORY, KIMBALL, LAKE ANDES, MARTY, PLANKINTON, PLATTE, STICKNEY, WAGNER, WESSINGTON SPRINGS, AND WHITE LAKE.

At 1038 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Herrick to near Ravinia to near Tyndall, moving northeast at 65 mph.
Hazard: 60 mph wind gusts.

Impact: Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Lake Andes and Geddes.
