At 852 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles southwest of Columbus to 4 miles northeast of Easley to near Clemson. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include Greenville Downtown, Spartanburg, Anderson, Easley, Clemson, Greenville Eastside, West Greenville, Greer, Mauldin, and Taylors.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for Upstate South Carolina.
