Description

At 752 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles west of Caldwell to near Glouster. Movement was south at 35 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include Marietta, Glouster, McConnelsville, Beverly, Chesterhill, Malta, Lowell, Stockport, Jacksonville, Trimble, Bristol, Macksburg, Amesville, Lower Salem, Burr Oak State Park, Hackney, Fleming, Bartlett, and Devola. This includes Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 3 and 17.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
