TORNADO WATCH 296 REMAINS VALID UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT /11 PM MDT/ TONIGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN NEBRASKA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 17 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL NEBRASKA CUSTER IN NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA BLAINE BOYD BROWN CHERRY GARFIELD HOLT KEYA PAHA LOUP ROCK THOMAS WHEELER IN WEST CENTRAL NEBRASKA ARTHUR GRANT HOOKER LOGAN MCPHERSON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF AINSWORTH, ARTHUR, ATKINSON, BARTLETT, BASSETT, BREWSTER, BROKEN BOW, BURWELL, BUTTE, DUNNING, ERICSON, HALSEY, HYANNIS, LYNCH, MULLEN, O'NEILL, PURDUM, RINGGOLD, ROSE, SPENCER, SPRINGVIEW, STAPLETON, TAYLOR, THEDFORD, TRYON, AND VALENTINE.

Description

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds are still possible with these thunderstorms. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for north central Nebraska. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service North Platte.
