Locally intense snow showers were moving from west to east across the Continental Divide this evening, generally north of a Canyon Creek to Sieben line and south of a Teton Pass to Bynum line. Visibilities beneath the most intense snow showers may fall to as low as one half of a mile, with hourly snow accumulations of between a quarter of an inch to near three quarters of an inch. Motorist should be prepared for rapidly changing conditions over short distances. Slow down and allow extra spacing between vehicles if you encounter one of these snow showers.
