Description

At 1011 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles east of Bloomington to 12 miles north of Bedford to 10 miles south of Bloomfield. Movement was east at 35 mph.
Hazard: Winds in excess of 40 mph.

Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include Bloomington, Columbus, Bedford, Bloomfield, Nashville, Odon, Oolitic, Lyons, Newberry, Crane, Smithville, Lake Lemon, Gnaw Bone, Bartlettsville, Burns City, Spurgeons Corner, Williams, Avoca, Pleasant View, and Monroe Reservoir. This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 62 and 69.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
