S: Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau. .Recent heavy rainfall in northern portions of the river basin continues to cause rises on the Mississippi River. At Cape Girardeau, the river will rise to and crest at flood stage Friday morning, and fall below flood stage Friday afternoon.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau.
When: Until early tomorrow afternoon.
Impacts: At 32.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs. The Mississippi River backs into several creeks producing flooding.
