Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa West Nishnabotna River At Randolph affecting Mills and Fremont Counties. .This update reflects a slight delay in the timing of the river's crest.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: West Nishnabotna River at Randolph.
When: Until Saturday morning.
Impacts: At 19.0 feet, Rural agricultural lands begin to flood.
Additional Details: - At 8:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 18.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 19.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this afternoon. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 19.2 feet on 03/30/1960. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
