Description

What: For the first Heat Advisory today, heat index values up to 110. For the second Heat Advisory on Wednesday, heat index values up to 112 expected.
Where: Portions of southeast Alabama, Big Bend and Panhandle Florida, and south central and southwest Georgia.
When: For the first Heat Advisory, until 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from 11 AM EDT /10 AM CDT/ to 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ Wednesday.
Impacts: Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
Additional Details: While a heat advisory is in effect for Wednesday, there remains a 10 to 30% chance that heat indices will exceed 113 across portions of the Florida Panhandle and Big Bend.
