The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a Flash Flood Warning for The Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar in East Central Custer County in southeastern Colorado West Central Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado Until 830 PM MDT. At 527 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain over the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the North Creek and Middle Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
Hazard: Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding in and around the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar.

Impact: Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Beulah and San Isabel. This includes the following high risk location
S: Beulah Water Intake, Northcreek Road county line to Red Mountain Camp and Northcreek Road from Red Mountain Camp to Beulah.

This is a life-threatening situation for in and around the middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Move away and to higher ground immediately. Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains will likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep terrain, especially in and around these areas. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
