THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ALLOWED TORNADO WATCH 357 TO EXPIRE FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN COLORADO THIS ALLOWS TO EXPIRE 3 COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST COLORADO LOGAN PHILLIPS SEDGWICK THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF HOLYOKE, JULESBURG, AND STERLING.

Description

At 947 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Logan Corners, or 11 miles west of Sterling, moving east at 25 mph.
Hazard: Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Sterling, Logan Corners and Atwood.

Action Recommandée

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing dangerous hail and damaging winds.
