SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 356 REMAINS VALID UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN WYOMING THIS WATCH INCLUDES 4 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL WYOMING FREMONT NATRONA IN NORTH CENTRAL WYOMING JOHNSON IN SOUTH CENTRAL WYOMING SWEETWATER THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BUFFALO, CASPER, DUBOIS, GREEN RIVER, KAYCEE, LANDER, RIVERTON, AND ROCK SPRINGS.

Description

At 816 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 miles east of Red Canyon to 15 miles northwest of Sweetwater Station to 24 miles southeast of Oregon Buttes to 11 miles southeast of Bitter Creek Rest Area, moving east at 35 mph.
Hazard: 60 mph wind gusts.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Bitter Creek Rest Area and Bitter Creek. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 137 and 150.
