Description

Forecast flooding changed to Minor severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Wisconsin Black River at Black River Falls affecting Jackson County.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Black River at Black River Falls.
When: Until early Tuesday morning.
Impacts: At 47.0 feet, Some rural roads may begin to flood including county Highway VV downstream near the La Crosse County line.
Additional Details: - At 6:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 47.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 43.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 6:00 AM CDT Sunday was 47.8 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 49.7 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 47.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 49.7 feet on 04/20/2017. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
