What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Portions of east central and eastern Virginia, including the following counties, in east central Virginia, King William and King and Queen. In eastern Virginia, Lancaster, Middlesex and Northumberland.
When: Until 730 PM EDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 423 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen since 230 PM. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area through 530 PM. - Some locations that will experience flooding include King William, Kilmarnock, Urbanna, King And Queen Court House, Lancaster, White Stone, Church View, Jamaica, Little Plymouth, Stevensville, Samos, Nesting, Water View, Remlik, Warner, Velma, Belle Isle State Park, Mollusk, Dragonville and Senora. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
