The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a Fire Weather Watch for dry and breezy conditions, which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening.
Winds: Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph gusting to 25 mph.
Relative Humidity: As low as 8 percent.
Temperatures: In the upper 90s.
Impacts: Any fires that develop will have the potential to spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
