What: Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: A portion of central Texas, including the following counties, Coryell and McLennan.
When: Until 945 PM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Waco, Gatesville, Hewitt, Robinson, Woodway, McGregor, Lorena, Bruceville-Eddy, Moody, Crawford, Mother Neff State Park, Fort Gates, Belton Lake, Lake Waco, Oglesby, South Mountain, Whitson, Osage, Leon Junction and Mound.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits. Therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. However small hail and gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for central Texas.
