Winds: South 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
Relative Humidity: As low as 10 percent.
Temperatures: Up to 103.
Impacts: Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures will contribute to extreme fire behavior.

At 641 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking high-based showers and thunderstorms along a line extending from near Elk City to near Texola. These showers and storms are capable of producing winds over 50 mph. Movement was east at 15 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include Elk City, Sayre, Burns Flat, Erick, Dill City, Canute, Carter, Foss, Texola, Retrop, Delhi, and Stafford.
