What: Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch.
Where: Northern Oneida and Southern Oneida Counties.
When: From 4 PM this afternoon to 11 AM EST Wednesday.
Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.
Additional Details: Locally up to around one quarter inch of ice accumulation is possible near and just north of the Mohawk Valley. Precipitation type will fluctuate between snow, freezing rain, rain and a few sleet pellets across northern Oneida county late this afternoon and evening. The Mohawk Valley region of southern Oneida county will see a mixture of freezing rain and perhaps some rain during the late afternoon and evening hours. The wintry mix of precipitation should turn back to wet snow late tonight and into Wednesday morning.
