The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri Missouri River at Napoleon affecting Ray, Lafayette and Jackson Counties. Missouri River at Waverly affecting Carroll, Saline and Lafayette Counties.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Missouri River at Napoleon.
When: From this afternoon to late Thursday night.
Impacts: At 17.0 feet, Low-lying areas unprotected by levees begin to flood.
Additional Details: - At 4:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 15.3 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 17.3 feet this evening.
