What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Garrett County, Maryland.
When: Until midnight EDT tonight.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
Additional Details: - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected. A widespread 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected, with localized totals of 3 to 5 inches possible where heavier thunderstorms move through. Given saturated soils after recent rainfall, some instances of flash flooding may occur.
