Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kentucky Rough River near Dundee affecting Ohio County.
: The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kentucky Green River near Mammoth Cave affecting Edmonson County. Green River at Woodbury affecting Warren and Butler Counties. Green River at Rochester affecting Ohio, Muhlenberg and Butler Counties. .Heavy rain from the past few days will cause the river to rise.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Green River at Woodbury.
When: From late tonight to early Thursday afternoon.
Impacts: At 26.0 feet, KY 403 at James McKinney Bridge floods. Water overflows lock wall.
Additional Details: - At 9:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 25.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 26.6 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 26.6 feet on 03/11/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
