Where: Chase County in east central Kansa

When: Until 1115 AM CDT.
Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
Additional Details: - At 746 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Cottonwood Falls, Strong City, Bazaar, Elmdale, Matfield Green, Cedar Point, Tallgrass Prairie, Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, Hymer, Saffordville and Wonsevu. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
