The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in IndianaIllinoi
S: Vermilion River near Danville affecting Vermilion and Vermillion Counties. .The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.
What: Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Vermilion River near Danville.
When: Until early Tuesday morning.
Impacts: At 26.0 feet, Flooding begins downstream in Eugene and Cayuga Indiana.
Additional Details: - At 1:15 AM CDT Sunday /2:15 AM EDT Sunday/ the stage was 24.1 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:15 AM CDT Sunday /2:15 AM EDT Sunday/ was 24.1 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
