Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana White River at Edwardsport. Fall Creek at Millersville. White River at Elliston. White River near Centerton. White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant. White River near Nora. White River at Ravenswood. White River at Noblesville. White River at Spencer. White River at Newberry.
: The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana White River at Indianapolis. White River at Anderson. White River at Petersburg. .Widespread flooding continues along the White River and associated tributaries. Major flooding is ongoing along the White near and north of Indianapolis, including Nora and Ravenswood areas will drop to Moderate later today. The crest along the White is currently south of Indianapolis. The crest will not reach Centerton until Monday afternoon, and points further southwest later than that.
What: Major flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record.
Where: White River near Nora.
When: Until late Wednesday morning.
Impacts: At 19.0 feet, Major flood is in progress. 200 to 400 homes flood. Water overtops an agricultural levee at Conner Prairie Settlement and is at the top of levee in Rocky Ripple. Warfleigh levee raised and fortified in June 2008 from McDonalds in Broad Ripple to Kessler Boulevard. Luxury homes located on Beach Avenue have three feet of water in their basements. Extensive flooding on both sides of Keystone Avenue south of East 80th Street.

Impacts: At 21.0 feet, In western Noblesville, high water surrounds commercial property along SR 32. Evacuation of some residences is required. Flooding begins in southwest Noblesville west of 3rd Street. Many sections of River Road in Hamilton County are impassable.
