Description

The Flood Warning continues or is extended for the following rivers in Indiana Driftwood River near Edinburgh. Flatrock River near Columbus. Big Blue River at Shelbyville. East Fork White River from Seymour to Rivervale. .Minor flooding will continue along the East Fork White River and associated tributaries. The initial crest is near Seymour tonight, with levels holding steady there. The crest should reach Rivervale around Tuesday evening. Additional rainfall of more than an inch in these basins could increase the crests, but lesser rainfall would likely serve only to prolong the high water.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Flatrock River near Columbus.
When: Until tomorrow afternoon.
Impacts: At 12.0 feet, On April 6, 2011 after reaching 13 feet Noblitt ParkCR 400N and Owens Bend Park remained flooded.
Additional Details: - At 10:30 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 12.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 PM EDT Saturday was 13.4 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
