Description

The Flood Warning continues for the Illinois river at the following location
S: Illinois River at La Grange LD. Illinois River at Meredosia. Illinois River at Valley City. Illinois River at Hardin. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Illinois River at Meredosia.
When: From late tonight until further notice.
Impacts: At 18.0 feet, City of Meredosia plugs storm sewer outlets.
Additional Details: - At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.4 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight and continue rising to a crest of 18.5 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
